Saturday, July 2, 2016. After being dropped in the water of the Delaware we say good bye to the vessel that transported Le reve across the Atlantic, and we are on our last cruise to Annapolis before offering her for sale. After a 6 hour run down the Delaware and the C and D canal we anchored at "Still Pond" in the north end of the Chesapeake. We enjoyed a cocktail and a beautiful sun set. Possibly our last on Le reve. What a terrific experience, and what memories we made. Up while everyone is watching.

Monday, October 28, 2013. Getting hauled out of the water. On Aug 25th at 11.00 hr, Le reve was scheduled to be hauled out of the water and be stored on the hard in Cleopatra marina in Preveza. This marked the end of our cruising season for 2013. All in all we traveled just shy of 800 nm (1460 km) in 62 days (Aug 25 to Oct.25) from Didim Turkey to Preveza Greece. Sunday, October 27, 2013. Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Anchored around the corner from our Srebreno dockage right in front of some "one time" beautiful buildings. It looked like a resort that was damaged during the war and abandoned. Christie and Andy took the dingy to the shore and explored the buildings. Le reve report: Docked at Srebreno

Thursday, July 30, 2015. The next day July 28th we left Cavtat, and went across the bay to Srebreno. This is right across the town of Mlini and where the Dislich,s will be coming to visit. Once we were tied securely to the dock, we took a taxi to explore the old city. At night, in Mlini we celebrated Kathi,s birthday in a local restaurant. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sunday, September 29, 2013. Back to lefkada town. On our way back to Lafkada we again stopped in one of our favorite anchorage Nidri. One of the problems with our new dingy is that it is hard to get into. At least Karel had a hard time! We toured the island by car and had some spectacular views looking down on the Ionion sea. Friday, September 27, 2013. From Meganisi we cruised to Kefallonia, the largest island of the Ionion islands. It felt like we had the restaurant right on the back deck of the boat.
