Wednesday, January 21, 2009. We flew in my mom and sister to watch the kids for 8 days while Ed and I went on a tropical get-away. This was a much needed and anticipated trip for us. Friday, August 22, 2008. First Day of School. We've got a First and Second Grader that started school this week. Their teachers seem really nice and the kids were happy to reconnect with friends from last year. It sounds crazy, but I have 5 hours a day now with only 2 kids and I feel FREE! But don't these 2 look so grown up! Bro and Sis together on the playground. Quincy and her friend Kate.happy to be in the same class. What are the other kids up to? Chase is just happy-go-lucky and goes with the flow.

Thursday, July 17, 2008. I assume most of you know, but I realized some may not be sure of our connection with these guys. Friday, November 6, 2009. Today was Jack's last day on the farm. Oh my goodness, we had so much fun. I'm so glad that we decided to do this because he has loved every minute of it. Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Easter and all that fun stuff! The day before Easter Chelsea and I took the kids to a couple of Easter egg hunts. The kids had a GREAT time and Jack even won a huge easter basket full of stuff and a big stuffed easter bunny. That evening we met Stan and Ivy for dinner. After dinner we came back to the house and they brought easter bags with lots of goodies for the kids. Of course, the kids LOVE the fun gifts. There favorite being the giant lollipop! Tuesday, November 9, 2010. Cowboys can ride quads too. Jack has been really busy lately. My little guy started preschool last month. It was bittersweet for me. I knew that he would love getting out and playing with other kids but he's still my baby. He loves it and wants to go everyday. He has a great time and comes home with lots of stories. Wednesday, December 24, 2008. We went ice skating for the first time and it was so fun. I am the only one who has ever ice skated, so I sat out with Chase and took some pictures while lending support. The kids did so well! And Ed was awesome too. We prepped them up front and explained "You are going to fall ALOT. Just laugh, get up and try again! I took these pics with my phone so they are not great quality, but you can get an idea of the fu.
