In 1969 I received an Art award from the renowned Australian artist Lloyd Rees, and in 1973 graduated from East Sydney Art School with a Diploma in Art Education. I held my first exhibition, which was in ceramics, in Paddington, Sydney in 1994. In the earlier years of my career, I majored in two dimensional art techniques, but since completing a Teachers Certificate in Ceramics in 1990, I now work on clay as my drawing and painting surface. The clay designs you see on this site are inspired by nature. My ceramics technique has been developed over twenty years, and now my pieces can be found in many private collections in Australia, Europe, Asia and America. Each year I work as an Artist in Residence at Uluru [Ayers Rock], and now find my work in many private collections both overseas and in Australia. Each design is an original. Colours can be requested, but artistic expression is purely my domain. Insurance during shipping is advisable....

My jewellery is designed to excite the eye, and is an extension of my love of the decorative qualities of light, colour, semi-precious stones, pearls, glass, wood and silver. Often, an exotic pendant set in silver becomes the focal point around which I design.I travel to many countries, including India, Sri Lanka, China, Indonesia, Thailand and the Middle East to choose my palette of stones. The clay and glazes are Australian made, and both underglazes and glazes are 'food safe'.

It wasn’t until 1995, after raising three children that I studied ceramics and started to exhibit in local galleries on the northern beaches of Sydney.
