www.lesleyingram.co.uk: More of a binner than a pinner . . . .

http://lesleyingram.blogspot.com/2011/11/more-of-binner-than-pinner.html

Wednesday, 23 November 2011. More of a binner than a pinner . . . . I've just sat down and read the blog I wrote back in May when the injury first happened . . . it pulled on a few more heart strings than I ever imagined it would. I still can't really see my knee in those photos, sitting looking at my knee now I see the scar and feel this disappointment. But its short lived because. Believe them - ha ha! Still trying to happen! Racing aside it just feels so amazing to be back on the bike. 2 runs in the d...

http://lesleyingram.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html

Monday, 24 May 2010. At last an actual mountain bike race at Aberfoyle! For the last few months I have literally been pulling my hair out trying to find my motivation for racing! Granted we didn't endure the best winter for training over here, but it felt like more than that. At the beginning of the season I was content with racing myself fit, but after a puncture at Kirroughtree. It appears that Aberfoyle. Was all I was waiting for! Night certainly made it more sleek. Sadly on sunday. Performance team) ...

Monday, 19 July 2010. Isn't it funny how easy it is to wake upin the morning when you know the reason you are getting up is not work :) there was no need for the snooze button on friday! I can find anything in there . . . . or maybe just the coke :). Chi Chi (the van) also got a makeover for going away, check him out below with his show girl Kerry. Just after midday we were off, what was left behind was left behind (let's face it judging from the picture above it wasn't much) the adventure starts here!

www.lesleyingram.co.uk: Time to come out of hibernation

http://lesleyingram.blogspot.com/2011/03/time-to-come-out-of-hibernation.html

Monday, 28 March 2011. Time to come out of hibernation. When you get one of those clear starry nights . . . well you really don't. Need much else to keep motivated. Once. Approaches you can start to see a difference in the day light hours, you feel refreshed and ready to hang up the lights for the summer . . . . Then March hits . . . the race season begins and everything changes! This year it all kicked off for me in Innerleithen. If you love a technical course. This year was no different, Steve Deas.

On the Bike with Paul C Smith. Elite Mountain Bike XC and Cat2 Road Racer. Saturday, 26 December 2009. On the Bike with Paul C Smith: A winter on the turbo?

http://paulcsmith.blogspot.com/2010/01/winter-on-turbo.html

On the Bike with Paul C Smith. Elite Mountain Bike XC and Cat2 Road Racer. Saturday, 16 January 2010. A winter on the turbo? With all this snow we've had across the UK in the past few weeks, it seems it hasn't been the best winter training start for a lot of riders. I've actually managed to tough it out ok, although my road bike has only seen tarmac (and gritty/icey tarmac at that! To be great for this - check it out! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). http://paulcsmith.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html

On the Bike with Paul C Smith. Elite Mountain Bike XC and Cat2 Road Racer. Friday, 26 March 2010. Just back from the first round of the Scottish MTB series at Kirroughtree, Dumfries. Looking back, this venue was probably where I scored my best result all season last year, with a 2nd place finish behind UK pro Paul Oldham. I was getting the whole pre-race jitters feeling all week about the race and felt confident of my fitness, so was looking forward to getting back onto the MTB race circuit. 3rd Expert B...

On the Bike with Paul C Smith. Elite Mountain Bike XC and Cat2 Road Racer. Tuesday, 8 September 2009. Well, as you may notice, this is the first time i've posted in quite a while. First of all, let me reassure you that i'm still on the bike - (I don't think you'll ever get me off it tbh! And poor finishes continued. Got a 7th place at SXC round 3, and 6th at the Scottish Champs - which was a struggle. The other rounds I felt so lifeless I couldn't finish. Well, that's about it for now. Some pics from...

This past saturday I decided to have a go at the 56mile Barrmill Road Race (Scottish TLI event) in Ayrshire while I was down in Glasgow visiting my sister, and at last a decent result, I took 1st place from by a solo attack a few miles from the finish! First, let me apologize for the lack of posts– my job and my family commitments got overwhelming during the holidays and I had no time to blog. HAPPY NEW YEAR and may you have a productive, prosperous, and very joyous 2017! December 23, 2016.

Adventures in Juba

Monday, April 29, 2013. Now I have always appreciated local wildlife everywhere I have been in all my travels. I love birds particularly, cats, dogs, cows with funny horns, goats.you name it. I have even been interested in bugs, especially strange and unusual ones, however, I have never, ever, ever found room in my heart for cockroaches! I hate everything about them, especially the way they move in that cockroachy, scuttery, trying to hide kind of way! Monday, April 15, 2013. The story so far. It's a bit...

Lesley's Life Log

Ok, I'm a big copy cat and all the cool kids are doing it (blogging), so here I go. Actually, I was hoping to make it easier to communicate with my friends and family near and far. Thursday, March 26, 2009. I just read the most heartwarming story of a woman who gave birth to triplets very prematurely. Two of the babies died right away and one of the babies held on for 6 months:( . Through this all, she pumped her breastmilk for her surviving babe - 56 gallons in those 6 months! Tuesday, March 17, 2009.
