Monday, May 19, 2008. Phi Phi Island, Thailand. After a ferry ride that gave me insight on how the Mayflower must have been we arrived on Phi Phi island. Tuesday, April 15, 2008. Thanks to a little extra time, I was able to hang out with Aidan during his trip to see Grandma and Grandpa. Sunday, July 6, 2008. Hanoi, Vietnam - Day 2. The cruise through Halong Bay began with a three hour van journey to Halong City. While I despise the requisite gift shop stops the rest of the trip was incredibly scenic. For a Vietnamese person I am sure the drive was fairly typical – about as exciting as a trip through wheat and corn fields for a girl from Kansas.
