My breast cancer journey! Monday, February 27, 2012. Today I received so many wonderful gifts. I'm completely overwhelmed by the love and generosity of so many people. If I learn nothing else from this illness I will learn how to be there for others when they are going through a tough time. I'm going to try to get a CT scan scheduled because I have been having a lot of back pain and want to make sure it hasn't spread to anywhere else. Please continue pray for me and my family! My breast cancer journey! Wednesday, March 28, 2012. My surgery was on March 12. It has been awhile since I have even turned my computer on, much less updated. Sorry to keep you all in the dark for so long. I am doing much better. Starting to feel like my old self again! Its amazing what good pain medicine can do for a person. I spent three nights in the hospital. It was so good coming home! I'm so ready for a shower! I go back to the dr on Friday! He will begin filling the expanders that day and I will ...

My breast cancer journey! Friday, March 9, 2012. It has been a few days since I have updated. I only had two appointments this week. Today I went to sign my consents for surgery and asked the dr some questions. I have to be at the hospital at 10:30 on Monday and surgery should begin around 12. I'm nervous but so ready to get it over with and begin this journey to get well. I have so many wonderful, caring people in my life right now. I'm so blessed! But the one I will get is still cute! Love you all,.

My breast cancer journey! Tuesday, June 26, 2012. So its been awhile since I have posted. I guess the saying "No news is good news" applies here. I have been doing really good. I have had three chemo treatments, I'm halfway over! My fourth treatment is this Thursday. I always dread the treatment day a little because I feel so good for the week before treatment and then I feel yucky for about two weeks after. Right now I feel great! Please pray for us both! Thank you all for everything!

Saturday, March 24, 2012. Or two, or more! I've joined in on the Spring Top Sewalong. I'm in major need of some new clothes! For two years I wore maternity and for the last year its been easy access for nursing. But not anymore! Baby Smile is officially weaned! So that means new shirts for momma! First up is a white linen top! I just love linen! I don't love that it always looks wrinkled! Oh and btw, mr smile took the pictures and i think i'm going to have to send him for some classes in photography!

I finished chemo in August and I did wonderfully with it all. Very few annoying side effects, but overall I did great. I'm finally getting my energy back, but it doesn't last too long! Welcome to Leslie's Bunny Barn. LB's Brad won Best of Breed in all three shows in Grants Pass Sept. 25-26. We are very proud of this boy! LB's Happy won 1st place Broken Junior Buck in Show A, and 2nd place in Show B at the Grants Pass show Sept. 25-26. LB's Brad won Best of Breed in Show C at the Oregon Convention on 5/31/15. LB's Brad won BOB in both WFRCS shows on March 29, 2015. LB's Sampson won BOB in Show A of the WFRCS show March 29, 2015, and LB's Jetta won BOSB in both shows that day.
