I was floundering, because my idea didnt make things happen on its own, all by itself. But fortunately, sometimes the universe sends your friends to stand by your side when you really need them. Or inspires them to send emails that actually jolt you creatively, and lift you up out of the quicksand you were sinking in. . The idea, as it stands at the sta...

Peace, Knit, Crochet, Spin, Bead, Quilt – Minnesota. The Weekend and Such. April 17, 2006 by zenknit. WT took Friday off for Sprung day, and he had a great idea to go to the Margorie McNeely Conservatory at Como Park. It is a tradition for most Twin Cities folks to visit the conservatory during Easter/Passover to see all the beautiful spring flowers. Going before Easter proper means less people. Here is a bit of what we saw:. Here’s WT and my dad, Louie. Here’s Chaachi and my red-haired mom, Helene.

No Exquisitely focused on one thing? It's all about the knitting. Interview with Robin Hunter. Robin was gracious enough to interview me (via email) for her blog today. I really enjoyed thinking about her questions, as well as reading her interviews with many other knitwear designers along with all her other informative posts. I'm pleasurably embarrassed to be in such virtual company. Thanks, Robin! Links to this post. Gore Place Festival (long overdue). Sheep waiting to be shorn. Links to this post.
