Except for Antigone: I wasted a year...
http://surviving-suze.blogspot.com/2010/06/i-wasted-year.html
Wednesday, June 23, 2010. I wasted a year. In 2008 I could have finished my WIP. I had just moved to the US to be with my boyfriend (now husband) and I was waiting on a green card. For a year. Yup, I spent a year surfing the internet, walking the dog and waiting for the next Netflix movie to arrive. * Sigh. And favorite agency websites. Except for Antigone: Confusing, Revision Hell
http://surviving-suze.blogspot.com/2010/03/confusing-revision-hell.html
Tuesday, March 2, 2010. Confusing, Revision Hell. I guess my question is this. Well, OK, I have two. Firstly – is it normal to revise like I am? I feel like I’m picking at a scab even when it hurts and I know I shouldn’t. And secondly – why am I switching to first person when I edit? Is it easier to write in the first person (and I’m just being lazy)? Or is this subconscious compulsion telling me that my whole novel should be written in the first person? Does anyone out there have any advice for me?
