The last weekend of January, Sam went down to Houston to celebrate his Dad's 70th birthday with lots of family and friends! With the way his school schedule was this year, he wasn't able to take off any days from school so it was just a short weekend trip. Sam, Kathryn, Ivy, and Marshall. Sunday, May 31, 2015. Ivy's preschool class and sprinkler fun. This picture was taken on one of Ivy's last days of preschool at the beginning of May. Her little class was so perfect for having a taste of what it will be like next year when we register her for real pre-k! She did so well and we LOVED her teacher, Clarissa, who would even have a different snack every day for the kids to try. I have to attribute Ivy learning to eat bread, to Clarissa this year! It is not big and sweeping, like the hope of my young adulthood. It is soft and encouraging. It is not about overturning.
