Wednesday, May 11, 2011. Catching Up On My Books. I have read several books lately, but haven't been writing about them. So this post is going to be extremely long, but it will get me caught up. Uglies by Scott Westerfeld. The Pirate Ruse by Marcia Lynn McClure. During a time when the United States was in war with King George, Cristabel Albay finds herself kidnapped from her home and taken aboard an enemy ship. The enemy ship is attacked by pirates, and she is captured by the evil pirate, Bully Booth.

Thursday, April 29, 2010. May showers, then June flowers? Today is April 29 and it is snowing! The high temperature for the day was 43 degrees, which is about 20 degrees below average. It has been a very cold and wet day and for the first time in weeks I had to put my sweater on at work just to get warm! At least I didn't have to resort to my fingerless gloves. Wednesday, March 17, 2010. What did I do? You know that feeling when you're driving down the road and see a police car pull out behind you from a church parking lot? You signal, pull over, get blinded by the spot light and you wait. He comes up to your window and says, "The reason I pulled you over is your license plate doesn't show that you have insurance." We were allowed to listen to music that we would be comfortable listening to in front of our mission president. There were a few songs that we didn't listen to for obvious reasons. Wednesday, June 9, 2010. A few weeks ago my brother and sister-in-law went on a well deserved trip. Mom went up to watch the kids, then dad and I headed up for the weekend. We had so much fun! We definitely kept busy. We went to On the Border, yum! Went to TGI Fridays. Went to see Shrek Ever After and went bowling. My niece wanted to paint my nails and of course, I let her.
