That life is precious and fragile and can be taken away at an instant. That nothing and no one should be taken for granted. That we are stronger and more resilient. Than we think we are. What I am trying to accomplish myself and teach my children by example is that in most cases, disappointments should be thought of as bumps in the road and not road blocks.
