Lessons of online dating

Lessons of online dating. Blog dedicated to sharing the stories of a first time online dater. Monday, June 23, 2014. Confessions of a one time conex princess. Can anyone comprehend the difficulty of honesty? Explaining oneself in a way that absolves not only guilt but responsibility of past actions is at best very hard to do. Especially when those actions happened in past tense atmosphere. Fortunately for myself the story that I am about to tell is funny (at least to me). Either way wish me luck! I do no...

Lessons of online dating: I am woman, hear me roar?

http://lessonsof.blogspot.com/2012/10/i-am-woman-hear-me-roar.html

Lessons of online dating. Blog dedicated to sharing the stories of a first time online dater. Friday, October 19, 2012. I am woman, hear me roar? Well, ya'll. it has been a cr-a-zy year! I have been with someone long enough that I am starting to use their catch phrases! Isn't that the weirdest feeling? And now you can't use it for fear that they will think you a copycat. You try to interject. It into conversation with them but are hyper aware that they will know what you are doing and. Views of a Rambler.

Lessons of online dating: Here's your change

http://lessonsof.blogspot.com/2012/10/heres-your-change.html

Lessons of online dating. Blog dedicated to sharing the stories of a first time online dater. Sunday, October 21, 2012. So how does one step back from the brink of respectability? How to take back those 'I hate it when' and ' Don't put that on my salad, it's gross'? Is it easily fixed with another conversation where I start off with : "Hey.you remember that talk we had a month ago where I was all like, ' That and this and no, don't put that there? Hurry up Ed McMahon, mama needs a new life!

Lessons of online dating: October 2011

http://lessonsof.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html

Lessons of online dating. Blog dedicated to sharing the stories of a first time online dater. Saturday, October 22, 2011. So my question is when does the walk of shame turn into just leaving someone's house? Is it a "between the hours of" situation or the level of commitment involved or a "well, he bought my dinner, I kinda owed him, right? If it is a 'between the hours of" situation, what are the hours? Wednesday, October 19, 2011. So, when is soon too soon? Falling back in the wagon? Does that work too?

Lessons of online dating. Blog dedicated to sharing the stories of a first time online dater. Monday, August 29, 2011. Crazy Asshole for $500, Alex. Ya'll remember that super fun and exciting, usually 2 week long, honeymoon period in the beginning of a relationship where everything is fuzzy and warm? Where he might snore like your dad and grandpa combined, but you think it is cute. Or the fact that he doesn't remember you told him your schedule just means he is busy? Let me break it down for you. Lessons of online dating: November 2011

http://lessonsof.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html

Lessons of online dating. Blog dedicated to sharing the stories of a first time online dater. Wednesday, November 30, 2011. To "DA" or not to "PDA"? That is the question. PDA The best source of gossip fodder out there. How else would we know that Sally and Jesse are "together" unless we saw them in the lunchroom making out? Also, think of your attractiveness and popularity. Those go waay up when something juicy is on the line. but really? Lets define PDA. PUBLIC DISPLAYS of AFFECTION . 1) NO FRENCH KISSI...

Blogging Back to the Middle. Posted in About me. Ok, I have a joke. A guy walks into a bar and pulls a tiny grand piano out of his pocket. Then he pulls out a little guy who sits down and begins to play…. I finally tried that casserole recipe for dinner last night. It was…. Oh my gosh. You know that most fantastic tool of modern dentistry, the gas? So that casserole was FAN-tastic! Like, the best so far! Anything in my mouth without it. Ok, anyone lost yet? Well, relax. God is Good. | Blogging Back to the Middle

https://bloggingbacktothemiddle.wordpress.com/2013/06/03/god-is-good

Blogging Back to the Middle. Posted in Rambling Mind. I’m going to give you a peek into a little portion of my life today. Stick with me through the old stuff and trust me when I tell you there’s a purpose. But that didn’t make the price I paid any less painful for me. The only thing I have ever regretted is that I lost a relationship with my brother. Something I’ve always prayed about, and always wished were different. So in January when I got a call at work from my aunt that my brother was sick and bei...

Blogging Back to the Middle. Posted in Rambling Mind. I’m 35, which is like waaaaaaaay past……painfully far past……what I figure to be the average MTV-viewing age. For the most part I don’t watch much on MTV anymore, but last night I’m relaxing, scanning the guide on my TV and suddenly there. it. is. Not the actual photo because I lack foresight). I made his name it’s own sentence because….really,do you need a reason? Well there he is, folks, in all his pretty boy glory. Yeah, he has the typical good l...

Sometimes Progress Ain’t Progress | Blogging Back to the Middle

Blogging Back to the Middle. Sometimes Progress Ain’t Progress. Posted in Rambling Mind. So I love it. Like I love, love it. But here’s my one gripe. They have this new thing now where you can self-publish. So any Joe Schmo with two pages of written material (or so) and an internet account can go to Amazon, load their two pages, and sell it like it’s a “real book” for say $0.99. I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOOOVED IT! 8217; than I do. Because of the actual story, not the writing. The naive damsel in distress wit...

My Weekend | Blogging Back to the Middle

https://bloggingbacktothemiddle.wordpress.com/2013/07/15/my-weekend

Blogging Back to the Middle. Happy Monday, everyone! That sounds awfully bubbly even in my own mind. I promise, I’m not that perky. I’m never that perky. Last week someone in my building was using speaker phone to repeatedly call this number that went to voice mail with this chipper, ‘Hi! I’m not available right now so leave a message and I’ll call you back! 8217; that played each time he called. At one point I hear a guy in another office say, ‘Crystal! 8216;Now how do you know that? The way I look at m...

Blessed. | Blogging Back to the Middle

https://bloggingbacktothemiddle.wordpress.com/2013/06/13/blessed

Blogging Back to the Middle. I was talking to a guy at work yesterday afternoon. His 19-month-old daughter has had severe health problems over the past year with multiple hospital stays. She’s been diagnosed with the two rarest forms of immune disorders as well as a non-functioning liver. Due to the rarity and severity of her condition they have recently been traveling to Duke University to see specialists. Be I should be on my knees in tears thanking God for my health alone. Live it on a daily basis.

Lessons Observed – Just another WordPress.com site

Just another WordPress.com site. My main purpose in expressing myself through this blog is to present reason and logic though I know I don’t have a monopoly on these things. I am not sure what other wisdom I can gather, but I do have a desire to provide links and reading materials for any who wish to study further. My point is this: Both major political parties, and specifically the Republican Party, need a collective introspection: What do we stand for? Mean in the 21. Therefore, my objective for 2017 i...

Lessons Learned as a Mother

Thursday, November 3, 2016. I'm Just Refilling Your Spoon! Annie is eating solid foods now, and she loves it. As I fed her blended pasta and carrots last night, she started screaming every time I took the spoon away to get another bite. I kept telling her, "It's okay. Calm down. I'm just refilling your spoon." But she just held on and let me know how angry she was. I found the "perfect" job. It was at a tutoring center downtown, just one stop away on the train line, and the hours would be flexible so...
