OK- So I am sure you don't want to look at all the house pictures that I took but please do take the time to check these ones out. The house was this light blue color. Doesn't really pop out at you does it? And the front of the porch was barn red. But the inside of the porch is done! Here's a finished wall with stutters back on.

This shows the final border (I don't think it is actually called a border but I can't remember the correct name right now). Anyway you sew a 2 1/2 inch wide folded piece of material to the top side using the sewing machine and the flip it over and hand stich it on the bottom side to make what is called an invisible stitch. For some reason I have been excited about the idea of decorating for Christmas. Nick is too and has helped with putting ornaments on the tree, placing trees throughout the Christmas village, and decorating the barn. Just wanted you to know that we are still enjoying our snow shoes! Now that there is finally enough snow to use them that is. Saturday, January 1, 2011. So since I have been known to be somewhat crafty with smaller projects (right Mom? I decided it was time to learn how to make something that might be around for awhile. This is after ironing- back side again.
