http://deschanefam.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 28, 2015. Church Easter Egg Hunt. Yep, in the snow. But we had fun. Friday, March 27, 2015. When given the chance to participate in the school science fair, our eager learner excitedly accepted the challenge. (Participation was voluntary.) We researched project ideas online and she chose one about displacement. Then she made predictions about how many of each object it would take to overflow the glass. The answer - 30 backgammon pieces, 98 marbles. She received 14 out of 15 possible points.

Audrey and I had a wonderful morning following her imagination. There were lots of games, Angelina Ballerina books, and tiny characters. She's wonderful and this year has been a special one for the two of us. Natalie and Audrey are upstairs now having a sleepover, another of their favs. It's been a special day for all of us, even if a bit surreal!

http://deschanefam.blogspot.com/2015/05/2015-gym-show.html
Monday, May 18, 2015. Natalie's gymnastics show on Saturday was so much fun to watch! She is one mighty girl! They began with a balance beam routine. Then moved to bars. Then a floor routine. They concluded with her very favorite activity - rope climbing. There was a bell at the top to ring. She's one of two that made it all the way up. The crowd literally went wild! She shows a lot of love for the sport and we're very proud of her enthusiasm, dedication, and strength. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Deschane Family Blog: January 2015
http://deschanefam.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 24, 2015. We drove down to VA today to meet Jerry Davitch, one of Chris's friends from the Academy, and tour the air and space museum near Dulles airport. The museum was awesome with an SR-71, Concorde SST, the space shuttle Discovery, and today only they opened the doors of the restoration hangar/workshop to the public! It's usually only viewable from behind glass - talk about shop envy. This is one to make time for, and we will definitely be back! Posted by Chris Deschane ( 3). She go...

Deschane Family Blog: October 2014
http://deschanefam.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 31, 2014. Our city held trick-or-treating last night so we have our Halloween pictures already. This year - Snow White and a cowgirl fairy (all her idea). Our neighborhood held a pre-trick-or-treating pizza party and costume parade. Then, with friends in tow, they were off! It was hard to keep up! They ran hard and long and ended the night with very full buckets and a very late bedtime. Success! Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Yes, that's a skating reindeer. Tuesday, October 14, 2014. Then had...

http://deschanefam.blogspot.com/2015/06/fathers-day-at-pennsylvania-grand-canyon.html
Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Father's Day at the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. Yes, it's a real place. On Friday we headed north nearly 3 hours to Leonard Harrison State Park. Near the NY border, home of the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon. We'd heard of it ages ago and were eager to check it out. Father's Day camping! While it may sound cheesy it's GORGEOUS. Yep, deserves all caps. There are 2 main hiking trails. An overlook trail. The girls made Dad a Father's Day breakfast back at camp. Happy Father's Day, Chris!
