I'm in maryland right now staying with lauryn. For a few days. she called me friday and said "I have an idea. I'm going to drive to New Jersey and see you". she spent the night and we left late saturday night to come back down to maryland. she has gotten me addicted to nip/tuck (she has seasons 1 and 2 on DVD). today I saw val-ray. For the first time in like. a year and a half. basically since I moved to jersey and she moved to florida. lauryn. And now, a brief review of 2006! Totaled my dad's surburban.

I had my kids'-party-themed 21st at the weeekend, and I spent two days baking for it. Here was the result. I'm too lazy to track down recipes now, but I'll provide them on request! Raspberry and lime muffins, vanilla cupcakes with lemon icing, gummy sweets, chocolate-peanut butter pillows, choc chip cookies and Mexican chocolate snickerdoodles. Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins.

For 12 peanut butter cups. 12 mini cupcake liners. 3/4 cup semi sweet Chocolate chips. 1/2 cup of peanut butter. 1/4 cup powdered sugar. 1/2 t pure vanilla extract. Pinch fine sea salt [if your PB is already salted, it’s optional to add more]. Place the cupcake tin into your freezer and allow the chocolate to harden. Divide peanut butter paste into all 12 liners, pressing down gently.
