Who We've Helped. Girls in the Know. Has a mission of inspiring girls to make healthy, informed and confident choices as they mature into adolescence and adulthood. The grant is to underwrite two 4-week workshops with 6th-7th grade female students and their mothers/caregivers at Marian Middle School. These workshops are critical to the urban adolescent women who attend Marian and face challenges with low-self esteem, body image, lack of self respect and digninty, anger and bullying.
