Wednesday, 18 June 2014. Notre Dame du Roc in Castellane. This church (or its predecessors) dates back to 832. There is quite an interesting history around the roc and the church. An old bridge at Castellane. Lac de Castillon. The photo doesn't really show. The true colour of the water,. The main street in Digne les Bains. We did the whole loop of the roundabout on foot. Wednesday, 4 June 2014. A rugged but picturesque coast. The Amalfi Coast. We decided to do a bus tour along the coast so that Rob could also enjoy the views. Good decision! It would not have been an enjoyable drive for him because the road is narrow and twisty all the way and every time a tour bus is met the cars have to pull right over and even stop to allow the buses to pass.
