Our adventures as we seek out stamps and mystery! Cross Country Skiing while 'boxing! So, we thought it would be fun to box while out on Christmas day. We hid quite a few while we were out there- the interesting fact? There was close to 4 FEET of snow on the ground while planting. Should make for interesting summer finds! Underneath. a box. Our adventures as we seek out stamps and mystery! The meet up in Boise! We had a great time meeting everyone! Joe (CowboyJoe) was excited that there were guys- hasn't happened very much. :) Nathan (RocktheNater) loved that it was in a park, and there were ooooodles of kids to play with. That was probably the best part of it all. We hid, we found, we ate and we had a BLAST! But maybe. :). Headed to Twin Falls and Boise, Idaho! And there is gonna be a mini-meet in Eagle, ID at 5pm in Merrill Park.

Our adventures as we seek out stamps and mystery! We were not able to spend as much time as we'd hoped out boxing, but we found all we looked for and had fun. RocktheNater especially loved the series we looked for. He thought it was "sick" or is that "sic? Not sure, but whatever it is- he loved it. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Our adventures as we seek out stamps and mystery! Sacajawea finding got me a MOOSE! I love moose. Imagine me finding a letterbox and a moose all at once! I was completely elated. And super bummed because my dang camera was in our suitcases and not up front with me! We were on our way to Boise, and spotted him just south east of Salmon, literally 100yrds or less from where I had nabbed our first box of the weekend. This was our official first event ever! Our adventures as we seek out stamps and mystery! Warning- some of my boxes might melt. We saw it start up last night. I watched it for a few hours and promised I'd rescue boxes before I left for school. No such luck- roads were closed. This evening when we went back to see how it was doing (up closer, about 2 miles, instead of from our yard) it was blocked off completely, even further down that at lunch time. Love Precious Moments, had to hide a box. This moated castle? Isn't she the cutest thing ever?

Our adventures as we seek out stamps and mystery! We've gotten reports that one of our plants had gone AWOL, and used it as an excuse to go back to San Diego to visit my sister and her family. We knew it was there, since we have just as many "find" emails as we have "missing" emails. However, I do wonder if maybe some of them are looking at the same time. One has it, while another is looking! I'd hoped to run into some boxers, but no such luck. Maybe next summer! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Our adventures as we seek out stamps and mystery! Taking it all in at Beaus Pond. We hid one, found one and loved the time there! Run, run, run! We ran over to the other side to hide this fun little box. It's good to recheck your clues! It's good to recheck your clues. Want to know why? So you can be sure the letterboxes are still ACTIVE! We were 0/6 and were feeling pretty bummed. However, when we got home and emailed the planter, she told us they'd been part of the attack on her boxes. Duh!
