Ruth 1:16 "Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God. ". Friday, November 4, 2011. October, October. Oh Where Did You Go? I simply cannot believe how fast the month of October flew by! Maybe it's because we did so many fun things? Looking back, there were lots of "firsts" for Miss Claire in the month of October. The next weekend we headed down to Sea World and Horseshoe Bay! C is now 22 mo...

Monday, January 4, 2010. 2009 Year in Review. Well, it's hard to believe it's over, but I think it's been one of the best years yet. I really love my life right now. Just me, the hubby and the puppy living comfortably, feeling somewhat financial stable, and just enjoying being an old married couple! Here are some of the highlights of 2009:. We had a belated Christmas with the Finchers and Strouds in Fort Worth. It was low key, but it's always nice to spend time with family! At the end of the month. Paris...

Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Little Things from the Last Few Weeks. The big birthday is over. I am 30 and still alive, although I swear I woke up on September 19th and I found more cellulite on my thighs. I considered ending it right there, but I figured I would try to move on with my life, focusing on more visits the gym and finding a good cellulite cream. That was at the park. Links to this post. Sunday, September 20, 2009. When I looked at my calendar earlier this year, I realized that my 30 th.

Monday, March 29, 2010. Vacation Journal, Day 3 - Working Up an Appetite. Our day started with the Museo Nacional del Prado. Sent us this wonderful article from the New York Times. Which was very helpful because we did not want to devote an entire day to visiting this huge museum. It took us four hours rather than 45 minutes to tour the Prado, but the article definitely facilitated our tour. The most popular painting in the Prado is Velazquez's "Las Meninas". And "Third of May, 1808". Our night started w...

Liz Zorek Photography » Madison, WI based children, family, lifestyle photography. Our year in pictures. Now, before you think our year was filled with nothing but beautiful sunsets, lovely walks in the woods, homemade soup, and relaxing evenings by the fire, we also dealt with two broken bones (back-to-back), and survived a months-long home improvement project, during which our house looked like this:. Bats living in the ceiling of the garage! Also, I have trips planned to Chicago and Austin in the spri...

Follow the Strouds: August 2009

Saturday, August 29, 2009. David spent the day in Wichita Falls at a bike race called the Hotter 'N Hell 100. In my opinion, riding 100 miles on a bike is crazy, but anyone who does it at the end of August in Texas must be crazier than hell. He lucked out, though, because the temperatures were actually pleasant here - around 90 degrees with low humidity. It could be much, much worse. He says he finished in around five hours, if that means anything to you. Here is Finn watching a squirrel:. Between shoppi...
