Letters to My Puppy. One-way correspondence with a growing pup named Cash. Day 306 – Puppy floor scratches. October 17, 2016. I have to say, I have been pleasantly surprised by how “easy” it’s been to train and take care of you. As a first time dog owner whose knowledge of owning a dog was limited to other people’s experience and (horror) stories, I was anxiously preparing for the house to take a beating: poo, pee, and chewed up everything. But the list of damages has been pretty small so far:. After sev...

Letters to My Puppy. One-way correspondence with a growing pup named Cash. Day 300 – Puppy dream noises. October 11, 2016. Last night I woke up to you making some loud almost-barks. Concerned, I checked the Nest cam. To see what was going on, but there you were in your crate, fast asleep. Aww, hope you have some sweet dreams, pup. Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window). Letters to My Puppy. One-way correspondence with a growing pup named Cash. Day 321 – A free range pup. November 2, 2016. I’m so over your playpen. Every day when I sit at work and watch you on our Nest Cam. I’m saddened that you’re confined to a play pen. When I get home I think to myself:. Wouldn’t it be nice if Cash were free and could come greet me at the door? Let’s change that. I think we’re ready to start giving you free reign of the downstairs during the day while we’re at work. We’ll start ...
Day 316 – Barky beginnings? – Letters to My Puppy
http://letterstomypuppy.com/2016/10/27/day-316-barky-beginnings
Letters to My Puppy. One-way correspondence with a growing pup named Cash. Day 316 – Barky beginnings? October 27, 2016. So far you’ve been a pretty great and pretty amazingly quiet pup. Itty bitty bark history. There are things that tend to send dogs into a barking frenzy:. Someone ringing the doorbell. Seeing other dogs on walks. But surprisingly, these things haven’t seemed to have the same effect on you. The most we had heard out of you was back when you were little:. Did a new dog just move in?

The musings of a Londoner, now living in Norfolk. August 13, 2015. August 13, 2015. It is a shame that I am not a famous artist, or bohemian writer. If I was, I could retire to a chaise longue, and place the back of my hand against my forehead, as I gaze listlessly through the window. Then others would say it was ‘ennui.’. I cannot even cite historical accuracy as a reason to watch this, as many of the events are jumbled or compressed, and character studies scant or absent. To be fair to the film, and the film-maker, T.F. Mou, it does what it says on the tin. Whether or not you want to watch the results, I leave up to you. The Story Of The Weeping Camel (2004). The SWAT team are sent in to root out drug dealers and gangsters occupying a deserted tower block in the city. But they have an informer in their midst, and the criminals have been alerted to the raid. The police walk into an ambush, and have to fight for their lives, with no sign of any help arriving. 2) Ride With The Devil (1999). It is 1000AD, and ...

The musings of a Londoner, now living in Norfolk. Just been watching…(2). May 30, 2015. May 30, 2015. This post contains plot spoilers* *. It has taken me three years to get around to watching a film that it seems like everyone else has already seen. I was reluctant to go to see it at the cinema (silly me), and decided to wait until it was cheaply available on DVD. As luck would have it, it was then advertised as being shown on TV that very weekend, so I didn’t even have to buy it. The big reveals are fe...

The musings of a Londoner, now living in Norfolk. November 28, 2014. November 28, 2014. Clean up after your dog. I often think of this poor man. The musings of a Londoner, now living in Norfolk. A mostly monochrome walk. August 15, 2015. As you can see, Beetley does exist. Those tall trees are home to hundreds of crows. The biggest hose-reel I have ever seen. Two rusty old water tanks, used by the pig farm. Despite the dull conditions, rabbits were around in good numbers, and Ollie had an exciting time. We were out for three hours this afternoon, and he is now sleeping off his dinner. Posted in Country Life in Norfolk. August 20, 2015 at 1:22 am.

Letters To My Mother. We were reaching the Student Union when Dr. Rosenau broke the silence. “You know, I never eat young ladies on Fridays. Only on Tuesdays.”. I couldn’t help laughing. “Do I look that apprehensive? David is a college professor, a sailor, a brilliant scientist trapped in a failed marriage; he buries himself in teaching and research. David's convinced that love has passed him by and he'll go through life with an empty heart. Is the story of a May-December romance set in 1950s Seattle.

Letters to my Redeemer. Monday, March 1, 2010. Unmerited Favor and the CPA Exam. Despite my dreary post last week, I am happy to say that my second exam on Saturday went really well! Letters to my Rigger | The joys of being an offshore wife
Letters to my Rigger. The joys of being an offshore wife. Asymp; Leave a comment. We live in a little seaside village where the majority of inhabitants are rather privileged (financially), so I tend to see a few rather strange, bizarre, WTF things happening when dropping the boys off at school. Not big bags with a weeks worth of home work….we are talking about 2 pretty, little pink pre-schooler bags! What type of adults are being raised here? Is this the problem with the younger generation? The sense tha...

You Don't Get To. A LITTLE TOO MUCH ABOUT ME. I love to be around people whether it's just a lazy day of movies or a completely out of control night. Well, maybe not all that, I am 30 years old now. I have had my regrets, but in college, we all did. I don't see the point of lying about it. Those nights made me who I am today. In my life time I have met some remarkable people, some are still around while others have been lost in translation, but all have been an inspiration. That no good deed goes unpunis...
