http://missionlittlebrother.blogspot.com/2006/12/good-to-be-home.html
Saturday, December 02, 2006. Good to be HOME! Okay, I know it has been a few days since I have posted. So, let me try to recap. We left Guangzhou early Thursday morning for Hong Kong. The flight went well and we managed to keep Jack awake for this leg. We had a pretty long layover in Hong Kong and Jack insisted on using chopsticks himself in the airport. See the video here. Jack enjoyed the airport and loves to watch the service vehicles at work. Grandma and Grandpa had a very welcome spaghetti dinner re...

Monday, March 03, 2008. Day 46 - Speech! Here is a picture of Jack's ear from today. Above his ear, you can see that the little scab fell off his scalp where the cup had rubbed it raw. This happened yesterday. There are already hairs growing back. I think it will be fine. Well, tomorrow is Jack's hearing test. I am excited to know the results. I can tell he can hear better and his speech is evidence! So here is the budding conversationalist! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Bug Bite on Left Ear. I am ...

Our class was cancelled this evening, so we were just chatting in the chat room. I mentioned that I am starting physical therapy this week. She asked me if it was "family centered", LOL! Laurie's Dance with Sound: God's Bowls in Heaven
http://lauriescidance.blogspot.com/2007/03/gods-bowls-in-heaven.html
Sunday, March 25, 2007. God's Bowls in Heaven. I had a *God Moment* recently and thought I would share it. God ALWAYS answers our prayers, even when we think He forgot or didn't think it was possible or important. God's Word tells of His many promises to His people. In the Book of Revelation there is a wonderful description of the prayers of saints which are placed in *bowls* in heaven. These prayers are gathered up in bowls ( Rev. 5:8. Yes, life was still difficult at times but I had a great support sys...

Dawne's CI Journey: Surgery
http://sunryze1.blogspot.com/2008/10/surgery.html
Tuesday, October 21, 2008. Sorry it took me so long to post this. The first couple of days after surgery I was in pain and couldn't move off the couch! I had surgery at about 9:30 am on Thursday, October 16. Dr. Weber said everything went according to plan and was successful. Surgery lasted about 2-2 1/2 hours. I felt pretty good after I woke up and went home within an hour. However later that evening I started feeling it, lol. It really wasn't that bad! Tomorrow you get activated! I'm excited for you!
