Today I finally got enough courage to 'de-friend' (from my Facebook account), a real life, long term friend who has been gradually but systematically excluding me from her real and online life over the last six months or so. Saturday, 19 May 2012. 28 years ago today I lost my best friend, and my first love. My life as I knew it changed the instant we got that phone call, and it would never be the same again.
