This Soup Tastes Stupid: February 2008
http://thissoup.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 28. Swollen Like a Balloon. I'm beginning to swell. Ankles, feet, wrists, fingers. no more wedding ring, no more bracelets. Even my watch is leaving marks. When I type for too long, I have trouble bending my knuckles. But none of this is as annoying as my swelling feet. Monday, February 25. Babies, Babies, Everywhere. Saturday, February 23. Prenatal Yoga Class is My Friend. This morning I attended my second prenatal yoga class - and it is amazing. First of all, everyone is pregnant!

This Soup Tastes Stupid: October 2007
http://thissoup.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 29. Hungry. Really Hungry. I woke up to a growling stomach Friday early morning at 4am. I closed my eyes and tried to ignore my hunger, but no-can-do. I was awake and starving. Only 6 hours earlier I had eaten some soft-serve ice cream with M&Ms on top, and 3 hours before that I had eaten pizza for dinner. Pizza ice cream = hunger so bad that I had to get out of bed at 4am and find something to eat? Hunger every hour = Quickly Growing Baby. Now it makes sense. Thursday, October 25. Liz na...

This Soup Tastes Stupid: Owen's Movie Debut
http://thissoup.blogspot.com/2008/04/owens-movie-debut.html
Friday, April 11. Here he is: Owen on video! Dave's voice does not generally sound like this - he is recovering from a bad cold. Enjoy Owen in all his first week glory. We think he's amazingly cute and funny, even though he hardly does anything yet. Who needs cable TV? I just love technology! Even though I can barely use it.) He is obviously such a smart and talented child. His dad's a bit of a geek, maybe, but. Just kidding Dave. I loved the commentary. April 14, 2008. April 14, 2008. April 15, 2008.

This Soup Tastes Stupid: The Birth Story
http://thissoup.blogspot.com/2008/04/birth-story.html
Thursday, April 10. A brief recap of the birth story:. Monday, March 31 - I had a bad sore throat and came home from school at 2:45pm to take a nap. Dave had classes all day in Cortland. At 5pm, I woke up from my nap to go to the bathroom, and as I sat up - Whoosh! My water broke. As I stood up, amniotic fluid poured out of me, soaking everything including my socks. Like to sit on laps or be touched, so this behavior was out of the ordinary and very, very welcome. I don't think it was a particularly hard...

This Soup Tastes Stupid: March 2008
http://thissoup.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 30. No More Bed Rest! We had our 36 week appointment on Friday, and Dr. Fitzgerald took me off bed rest and said we're in the clear. The baby can come at any time, and no one's going to try and prevent it. I celebrated by climbing some stairs. 1 walking, walking, walking - and climbing stairs (but no heavy lifting). 2 back to yoga and stretching exercises. 3 taking Evening Primrose Oil (to thin my cervix). Labels: preparation for baby. Friday, March 28. It's kind of like, "Hi, honey, how wa...
