Following the closure of Somerfield (formerly Kwik Save) on Stockport Road and the demolition of the Community Centre on Chapel Street (issues I've documented on this blog) a group of residents are campaigning to see improvements in shopping and community facilities in the area. They've even drawn up plans of how the area around the former Somerfield might look. On Wednesday 14th March. Where you can sign the petition.

A few times I've seen posted that two members of the Smiths live/ lived in Levenshulme. As I've not seen Steven Patrick Morrissey in Netto I guess this must mean one of the other three? Welcome to the Website for the Anglican Churches of Levenshulme in Greater Manchester. Levenshulme is a community straddling the A6 halfway between Stockport and Manchester in the North West of England. The community is served by two anglican churches - St. Marks, and the recently amalgamated Church of St. Peters with St. Andrews.
