Levi Warren Sheffler 1841. Thursday, February 10, 2005. Levi Warren Sheffler 1841-1929. Levi was born in Westmoreland County PA and served in the 15th PA Cavalry in the Civil War. He married Maria Culbertson after the war and moved to Michigan where they had 3 children: Ella, then William, who died around his first year, and Jessie Mae.
