Cleaning Brass with the RCBS Ultrasonic Cleaner. Brass prep is a critical part of the reloading process, but it can be a huge pain to deal with. I’ve traditionally been a dry tumbler, but I’ve been curious to try some new processes including ultrasonic case cleaning, and stainless media wet tumbling. In this article I’ll give you the low-down on my experience cleaning 7.62x51mm (military 308 Winchester) brass with the RCBS Ultrasonic Cleaner. Here’s the brass before ultrasonic cleaning:. Unboxing the RCBS Ultrasonic Cleaner. In preparation for loading 45 ACP on the RCBS Pro Chucker 5, I thought it would be a great idea to “get serious” about my die cleaning setup. Well, I’m about to show you a huge upgrade from my “shake the dies in a can of paint thinner method” that I’ve used for years. I’m pretty excited to “step into the modern era” on this one. Here’s the overview of what’s included:. View all posts by Gavin. July 30, 2015. July 30, 2015 at 8:51 pm. July 31, 2015 at 9:48 am. Gavin, ...

Poll: How much .22 LR is Enough? | Ultimate Reloader
http://ultimatereloader.com/2014/04/08/poll-how-much-22-lr-is-enough
Poll: How much .22 LR is Enough? From the suggestion box! Fellow Ultimate Reloader reader John from New Baltimore, MI writes:. 22LR – it looks like gold, and some are hoarding it as if it were! I start to wonder about people who are hoarding. Is a mindset in America today or has it been here since the GREAT DEPRESSION? Did we learn through our parents and Grand parents? I love the show American Pickers, and my .22LR stock is down to the bare minimum, so this email got my attention! Please leave a comment!

Q&A: Help! crushed cases loading 45ACP! | Ultimate Reloader
http://ultimatereloader.com/2010/01/08/qa-help-crushed-cases-loading-45acp
Crushed cases loading 45ACP! I recently got this question from a reader (recoilamrs) regarding loading 45ACP on the Hornady Lock-N-Load:. This is killing me I swear! No matter what I do I can’t reload 45 auto that fits into my XD45. It doesn’t look like new ammo and it always seems to bend the case wall. I don’t know what else I can do. I’ve tried reading the manual. Can you please make a video on setting the dies? Install seat/crimp die in LNL bushing, snap into place. Back the seating plug mostly out.
