August 18, 2012 · 11:26 pm. My parents and I are in San Antonio and this is my last weekend here. We decided to do some traveling this weekend. We got up and headed to Fredericksburg. It’s in Texas hill country and also in Texas wine country. It’s a CUTE town. Overlook the cars and you can see for yourself…. We had lunch then cruised down the main street popping into some of the shops. We also stopped at a German brewery for a breather. In town we even found Rob’s store! And it isn’t even September!

Road trip by the numbers. Finally finished the road trip and made it to Home Sweet Texas, Home. Here’s a quick and dirty recap. 26 days on the road. 20 different beds (! 9 family members visited. 18 states driven through. 5 new states visited – Kentucky, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island. Such a great experience!
