Lewis Moonie MP
http://lewismoonie.blogspot.com/2004/08/ive-decided-that-there-is-no-point-in.html
An unofficial blog for Lewis Moonie, Labour MP for Kirkcaldy. Friday, August 13, 2004. I've decided that there is no point in continuing with the Lewis Moonie blog. For a start, he isn't going to be an MP for very much longer. There's never any news on Lewis Moonie floating about. And this area is so unquestioning of Labour. So I won't tear this blog right down. Archive posts, if you really want them, are still available aswell. Remember to keep on checking out Bloggerheads. Why politicians need weblogs.
Lewis Moonie MP: About this blog
http://lewismoonie.blogspot.com/2004/06/about-this-blog.html
An unofficial blog for Lewis Moonie, Labour MP for Kirkcaldy. Tuesday, June 08, 2004. This is an unofficial weblog, casting an eye over Dr Lewis Moonie, Labour MP for the Kirkcaldy constituency. This blog is not affiliated with any politician or party. I am one of Lewis Moonie's constituents. I'm not upset with my MP, and this blog is not necessarily meant to be negative. But I believe that accountability is necessary in a democracy. This blog was set up after I read this article about MPs' blogs. I appr...

An unofficial blog for Lewis Moonie, Labour MP for Kirkcaldy. Tuesday, June 29, 2004. Loyal' Lewis Moonie joins Labour rebellion. According to today's Edinburgh Evening News. Lewis Moonie, who once said he couldn't bring himself to rebel against his party, has joined a rebellion on the issue of organ donors. But the National Health Service is facing a growing shortage of hearts, livers, kidneys and other organs. Nice to see that my MP won't just support any old Labour policy. I've been noticing a few peo...
Lewis Moonie MP: Kirkcaldy
http://lewismoonie.blogspot.com/2004/06/kirkcaldy.html
An unofficial blog for Lewis Moonie, Labour MP for Kirkcaldy. Wednesday, June 09, 2004. Labour Majority: 31.8%; Turnout: 54.6%. Kirkcaldy's most famous son is Adam Smith, widely seen as having invented free-market economics (indeed, he is seen as having invented the science of economics itself). Despite this, the seat has been held by Labour since 1935. Kirkcaldy is the 165th safest seat of the 654 in the country. In PDF format from The Boundary Commission for Scotland's website. 2001 - General Election.
Lewis Moonie MP: July 2004
http://lewismoonie.blogspot.com/2004_07_01_archive.html
An unofficial blog for Lewis Moonie, Labour MP for Kirkcaldy. Saturday, July 31, 2004. No, Lewis Moonie still seems to be keeping a low profile. But today I spotted Kirkcaldy's MSP, Marilyn Livingstone talking to constituents. You never see Lewis Moonie about the place. Posted by doctorvee at 9:32 pm. Gordon Brown in Kirkcaldy. Posted by doctorvee at 1:07 am. Thursday, July 29, 2004. STILL not Lewis Mooney. This article is filled with mistakes. Search for 'Lewis Moonie'. Search for 'Lewis Mooney'. It's a...

Or Not the real Jim Cousins Blog. Wednesday, July 14, 2004. Jim Cousins calls for tougher sentences for dangerous drivers. Jim Cousins has met the family of local pensioner Harry Thompson whose killer received a paltry 18 month sentence for leaving him dying in the road like a dog. And has pledged to them to try and bring in tougher traffic laws for road offences. Read the Journal article about Jim Cousins here. Read the Journal leader here. Or Not the real Jim Cousins Blog. Friday, August 20, 2004. And this is how it went. I finally met Jim at his constituency office the other night. It was in fact one evening earlier this week so this post has been overlong in coming. Sorry. I'm not setting a very good example am I? Because of the comparatively high numbers of students and graduates in the constituency Jim knows there is a fair percentage of his constituents having guaranteed internet access thus having easy access to the blog. We disc...

Or Not the real Jim Cousins Blog. Thursday, July 29, 2004. Hello Jim, goodbye not the real Jim? I've had an email from Shane McCracken who has been doing some research on what MP's think of their blogs being run by proxy. After he had emailed Jim, Jim's constituency researcher telephoned him to ask him if he was not the real Jim Cousins. Of course he isn't - I am! I've just had a call from his constituency researcher asking what my interest was in the matter and to find out if I was NTRJC. In an article ...

Or Not the real Jim Cousins Blog. Thursday, June 24, 2004. Written Answer to Jim Cousins re Traffic Levels in Newcastle. Jim has been asking about the traffic levels. For the last few years on the various A1 interchanges around Newcastle. Unsurprisingly they are rising. My suggestion would be to station a couple of traffic police at rush hour on the Swan house roundabout which would at least help to keep the traffic moving as it is absolute gridlock with vehicles abusing the rules on the yellow grids.

Or Not the real Jim Cousins Blog. Wednesday, August 11, 2004. I'm going to see Jim Cousins. There was me thinking August was going to be a bit quiet on the Jim Cousins Blog with Parliament on their summer holidays. But there's been contact between myself and Jim. The upshot of these emails is that I'm going to see Jim soon to talk about blogging and the role it can play in an MP's communication tool box. Thanks Jim (and Jo! Update: And this is how it went. Tuesday, 20 May 2008. This week we caught up with Lewis to get his views on the win over Gloucester, the England team and his injuries. Find out what he had to say below. What did you think of Leicester’s performance against Gloucester? It was a great performance from the lads and a very exciting finish. Everyone at the club is hoping for a great finish to the season and although we enjoyed a couple of Magners after the match it will be straight into the pre final preparations next week. What do you thin...
