Julia Hancock Chapter DAR. Julia Hancock Chapter was organized March 3, 1927, at Lewistown, by Organizing Regent, Elizabeth Rahn. This chapter derives its name from the fiancée of Captain William Clark of the famed Lewis and Clark expedition. Four State Regents and one National Officer came from this chapter. Mrs. Rahn, Organizing Regent, was elected as Vice President General at the 48th Continental Congress and served from 1939-1942. For membership information please contact the Chapter Regent.
