No fences . . . no sign of anyone attending to the animals . . . just roaming around free. One day we stopped for lunch next to a little pond and the entire hour we were there, a cow was walking around, ringing his bell which was hanging around his neck. He never stopped moving. He must have been nuts! Lots of flies on the horses! Where are we going?

Saturday, November 10, 2007. Fly to Havana via Cancun. Go to the other terminal to pick up my ticket. It was there! Checked into my flight and waited for hours. Bought one last hamburger before I got on the flight. Looking for the other American who is going to be on the trip. Lots of Americans on the flight to Havana. Very surprised. Land in Havana and go through Customs. It was a little spooky, but made it through. Pick up our bags . . . no bike. :-(. It isn't that late yet. Fly to Havana via Cancun.
