Monday, February 1, 2010. Day 4: We Met the Good Snowman. Up again at 7:15. Believe it or not, it has not been an issue getting them going in the mornings. Same cannot be said for the adults. After breakfast we boarded the bus for Quebec City. The first stop was the Observatoire Capitale. A very good multimedia interpretation of the founding of Canada. We ate our bag lunch there and then walked across the street to Le Carnaval. Day 7: Tubes and Pals. Day 6: All Things Maple. Day 5: Du Cirque, Du Soleil.

Friday, January 29, 2010. Day 1: Plane and Uneventful. We have arrived en Montreal! The day was quite plane :) and uneventful. Flight left on time and was smooth the whole way until descending when we experienced a bit of light turbulence. No passports or luggage lost so far! We met our group leaders at the airport, gasped as we stepped into the minus 19 Celsius air, and boarded our school bus. We then headed off to a restaurant Restaurant Commensal. Wednesday, February 3, 2010. Day 6: All Things Maple. Native village. There we learned how they used to live before the Europeans arrived. As with all attractions we have visited, they had a gift shop. This shop was filled primarily with native crafts and such, but it did have an obligatory maple syrup section. Next we were off to see the Sainte Anne de Beaupre Basilica. Day 7: Tubes and Pals. Day 6: All Things Maple. Day 5: Du Cirque, Du Soleil. Day 4: We Met the Good Snowman.

Tuesday, February 2, 2010. Day 5: Du Cirque, Du Soleil. We were all up at 6:15 today. Everyone got up quite quickly despite taking until close to 11pm to get to sleep. Now you know they can do it if they have to! Today was all about the circus and a ferry ride. Now I know ferry rides do not sound that exciting to us coastal folk, however, the St. Lawrence River is frozen with the clear weather, so it spices things up a bit. Having watched.
