Playing in the Dirt: October 2012
http://weplayindirt.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Playing in the Dirt. Wherever there is dirt, there we will play. Wednesday, October 31, 2012. Kayla taught Logan what Halloween was all about. Strawberry princess doing a curtsey. I went to the Halloween party as a dead explosives technician. (I was told to dress up, but when I showed up there weren't many other adults in costume. At least I was a bunny! Can you find Kayla? Good thing her jacket from 2 years ago matches her dress! Kayla was a little worn out from all the running around. Logan started his...

Playing in the Dirt: February 2013
http://weplayindirt.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Playing in the Dirt. Wherever there is dirt, there we will play. Thursday, February 14, 2013. Braden officially left his 20-somethings on Monday to join the ranks of those "in their thirties". When did we all get so old? I personally continue to turn 24 every year, which has been working out nicely for me, except that now I am married to an old man (wink wink! After breakfast we all kind of hung out and played for a while. Braden went to the tailor to pick up a pair of pants and I started getting thi...

Playing in the Dirt: March 2013
http://weplayindirt.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Playing in the Dirt. Wherever there is dirt, there we will play. Sunday, March 17, 2013. I'm married to a girl. That loves holidays. I mean loves. Them Even the ones that don't count as vacation, like St. Patrick's day. As a result, I woke up groggy and being pinched because I hadn't had the foresight to put on any green underpants the night before. But really, that's part of the fun. This morning, we woke up to everything being green-washed, including breakfast. Tuesday, March 12, 2013. At the science m...

She attended the First Federated Church's Bo Peep preschool and loved it. Last week they went on a field trip to Linden Hill Farm where they got to see (and pet! Lots of different animals. Playing in the Dirt: September 2012
http://weplayindirt.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Playing in the Dirt. Wherever there is dirt, there we will play. Thursday, September 27, 2012. Kayla loves preschool and is always very excited to go. When I pick her up she tells me about her friends, Maiwen, Johanna, and Genevieve (deciphering those names was nothing short of a miracle for me and I had to check out the names on the backpack hooks at the preschool to figure out Maiwen). How can a three-year-old say that? It just about broke my heart. What do I do? Tuesday, September 4, 2012. She was so ...

My adventures as a member of the MIT LGO class of 2012. Wednesday, April 24, 2013. LGO: One Year Out. It has been nearly one year since I graduated from the LGOprogram. And with the LGO alumni conference. Coming up in a week, this seems like an appropriate time to write an update on my post-LGO life and reflect back on my time in the program. The past year in review. I STRONGLY recommend that anyone who has a chance to take a few months off does so. Beautiful Amgen Rhode Island. I started my job at Amgen.

My adventures as a member of the MIT LGO class of 2012. Thursday, January 12, 2012. Closing One Chapter, Starting Another. Okay, it’s been awhile. Too long, really, since my last post. In that time, I’ve finished up my internship, accepted a job offer, and the LGO site. Has been overhauled (and is now pretty darn snazzy as a result, though I do miss the old colors.or, rather, two shades and a color). In this post, I’ll hit on those first two. Finishing up the Internship. I’d also like to point out ...

One in Forty-Eight: School Sports
http://elgarvouj.blogspot.com/2011/03/school-sports_20.html
My adventures as a member of the MIT LGO class of 2012. Sunday, March 20, 2011. Most of my previous posts have focused on the academic side of the LGO program. There is no better way to bond with your classmates (and to find out their true personalities). During the current academic year, the LGO program has had/will have teams or players in at least eight sports: flag football, hockey (more on this in a minute), basketball, softball, water polo, table tennis, real tennis, and volleyball. The. On the oth...
