Monday, June 13, 2011. A First Day At School. The 1971Summer holidays were almost over and farmers had gathered their crops from the fields. The Ferkla market was overcrowded. Clothes, dates , vegetables and many other groceries were on display. My father and I crossed the market place to a corner where a clothier had put up a tent. The long winter night was silent and only barks of starving wild wolves and dogs could be heard now and then.
