My mess my way! So back in August, my hubby and I got a Pembroke Welsh Corgi that we named Leia. She was born on July 2nd, and we got her at just 6 weeks old due to her dame passing. We are absolutely in love with our pup. She has her own facebook page that you can see what she’s up to if you want. Anyway here are some of her puppy pictures. When I first came home:. My mess my way! The evolution of an online nickname. I am often asked how I came by the nickname Liadan online. I again was asked this recently and it got me thinking, how did I end up with Liadan. I first found the name Liadan in a book by Juliet Marieller. Called Daughter of the Forest possibly the second book in the series Son of the Shadows. Wednesday, October 8, 2008. Well, as many have probably noticed by now, the video of the children praising the Messiah has been removed from YouTube. I'm actually quite curious as to what has precipitated this move, but if I had to guess I'd put my money on the rather large number of comments claiming the children were being exploited without any real knowledge of what they were singing about - not that having no idea what you're talking about has ever stopped anyone from engaging in politics.

Sunday, June 28, 2009. Scenic Evanston, Wyoming. Today in preparation for the 4th, Jeff and I made a run to Evanston in hopes of procuring some good fireworks at a fair price. My store of choice was always Porter's, dating back many years into my youth. Porter's has since been converted into the TNT warehouse, so that was naturally the first stop. Thursday, July 2, 2009. Make the Smart Choice, Don't Drown. Well as everyone knows, we've been getting a lot of rain here in Utah over the last week or two. Apparently that's a major issue for some people who love to drive their cars into giant 5 foot deep lakes of water. As a public service announcement, I'd like to remind all of my fellow Utah drivers that cars do not float. You will sink. Sinking in water typically results in drowning. And drowning usually = death. Just say no to drowning!
