Friday, April 22, 2005. Half way to go! As of Wednesday, I am now 20 weeks! Half way through the pregnancy. So far, I have gained 14 pounds. I look the same, but my butt and my hips have gained :( I am still not getting any food cravings. I officially announce that I am feeling the baby move and kicking around! I was right in my previous post, I did indeed feel the baby move :). I wonder what the next 20 weeks will be like! Yesterday, I officially look pregnant to strangers! Sheesh, am I already that big?

Wednesday, November 30, 2005. Plane, Train, and Automobile. At least Raine didn’t poop on her. :). Many big things have happened within a week. On Monday Nov. 14, she laughed out loud for the first time. It happened when we were putting a jacket on Raine and Todd laughed at her. He thought she looked cute in her jacket. Raine laughed back when Todd laughed. I told Todd to laugh again. So he did, and Raine laughed again. It was amazing! Such a joy to see her laughing! It seemed that she got over her colic...

Friday, September 23, 2005. I should have covered her with wipes. She spurted out a poo, a big poo! It went all over the changing mattress and all over the wall! As the poo was running down the wall, I quickly grabbed several wipes and wiped them off before they hit the carpet. This morning I put her in bouncer and then I looked and babbled with her, she smiled! Wednesday, May 25, 2005. Today I am 25 weeks! Two more weeks left till the 3rd trimester. wow, time sure does fly by. I will have monthly Dr. appt next Wednesday. I hope I will get the room with the ultrasound so that I can see the baby :). Just for fun, I typed down the questions and comments that I get over and over again. Are you carrying twins? Wednesday, June 29, 2005. I had my Dr. appt today. I got the room with the ultrasound, hoorah! The baby is kicking less but moving more now. I can feel its elbow, or knee, or whatever body part moving across the belly. I think there is no room for the baby to kick around. Monday, August 29, 2005. WARNING, long blog! Said my Dr. She couldn’t believe I was smiling at 8 cm. The contractions weren’t strong enough to make me frown hehe. I told you, you’re tough! She said. She thought I was tough when we had our appt. the Wednesday before. Then she broke my water, which was when the contractions HURT! And the baby had its legs together with the cord between it. The doctor quickly checked and said it’s a girl! We now have a daughter! Todd and I decided to name her Raine Holland ...

Wednesday, July 27, 2005. I hear the baby crying". I am 34 weeks today. Only 4 to 6 more weeks to go! We need to finish up the baby's room and get everything ready soon! Tomorrow, Todd and I will be going to our first Birthing class. It will run every Thursday from 6:30 to 8pm till Sept. 1st (6 classes altogether) . It's going to be interesting.
