http://librarycartoons.blogspot.com/2008/05/truthfully-i-dont-watch-any-of-csi.html
Clogging the internet since 2006. Sunday, May 11, 2008. Truthfully, I don't watch any of the CSI shows on TV, but after getting an idea from one of my co-workers, N.B., I thought it would be fun to take the classic detective scenario and put it in a library. This might have the potential for later episodes.stay tuned! Have you read the graphic novel Bookhunter. It's about a crack detective team tracking down stolen books at the Oakland Public Library. I hope it is. The first in a series. View from a bard.

Clogging the internet since 2006. Monday, May 19, 2008. Once again, I'm a little late on posting a new cartoon. I think it has something to do with the warmer weather we've been having and being at the Oregon coast for the weekend. The idea behind this post started with a suggestion from R.K. It was slightly different at the beginning, but after a couple of little tweaks, this is the end result. I call it "The Loquacious Patron.". Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Saturday, October 21, 2006. This is my attempt at making a cartoon blog, based on the life of a library employee. I'm not sure if it'll lead anywhere, but maybe I'll make another one in a week or so. Clogging the internet since 2006. Friday, May 02, 2008. I've fallen behind schedule with my usual posting because I didn't have a cartoon ready for this past Sunday (sorry! I finally finished what I've been working on and was going to wait a couple more days, but decided to hurry things along and just get it online. The "Martian Squeeze Thing" is called a "Bug Out Bob". I got one for Paul a few years back when I was traveling a lot. The toy stores at the airports had them. They're GREAT! View from a bard.

Clogging the internet since 2006. Tuesday, November 28, 2006. Honestly, patrons drop the most random items down the book return. Still looking for your remote control underneath the couch cushions? You might want to try the lost and found at your local library. Tuesday, November 21, 2006. Monday, November 20, 2006. Okay, maybe this is a slight exaggeration, but the start of each day at the library can feel like this at times. Wednesday, November 15, 2006. Friday, November 10, 2006. Currently Out of Stock.

Family gripes, fear of airplanes, multiple eye injuries and OCD central. Thursday, August 24, 2006. I dream of updated training materials and holds lists in which every item is found. My nightmares include co-workers scheduling me for 4am baking shifts at their fantasy restaurants with out telling me about it. I dream that my supervisor is observing me through psychic channels and is "watching" me while I shave my armpits in the shower. Do you have your library card with you? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
