Thursday, July 30, 2009. Week #7 Thing 16 and 17: Wikis. Teachers have always used a "wiki" in teaching on a much smaller scale, just not used the term. We collect the knowledge of all of our students and bring in the knowledge of our predecessors as we guide students to new knowledge. Tuesday, February 10, 2009. Week #6: Thing 15. mediamaniac: Week #6: Thing 14

http://librarymediamaniac.blogspot.com/2009/02/week-6-thing-14.html

Tuesday, February 10, 2009. Week #6: Thing 14. I did not care for Technorati, even though the tags were a useful learning tool. It was not as easy to use as Del.ici.ous, and not as fun! Also, I was shocked at how easy it was to click on a blog or a video that I definitely would not want to see myself, let alone for use in a classroom. I think I will stick to social networking that is a bit more reliable and for use in education. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Week #6: Thing 15. Week #6: Thing 14.

http://librarymediamaniac.blogspot.com/2009/01/week-5-playing-is-fun.html

Saturday, January 31, 2009. Week #5: Playing is FUN! Things #10 and 11). Not only did I explore and join a Ning network for Librarians (thank you Joyce Valenza) and the LinkedIn Network, I had fun adding captions to photos and playing with adding widgets to my facebook! Check out this TravelerIQ widget. And see if you can beat me! OK- I am having trouble bringing the widget in - says it is broken. I enjoyed playing it though, so it is worth a mention.
