The Rogers' Family: March 2012
http://mattsarahandcorrie.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 31, 2012. The Tooth Fairy's first gig at the Rogers' House. At Corrie's 5 year well check at the end of January, the doctor told us we probably wouldn't see a loose tooth until Corrie was 6 or older. So I was very surprised when 2 days later Corrie said, "Mom, my tooth is hurting and it feels loose." I actually believed she was exaggerating until I felt it for myself and saw how wiggly it was! Holding out her tooth! No, I didn't dress up, but yes I left some money. :). He must've been rea...

Tuesday, June 4, 2013. Frog Obsession (or homeschool science). One of the things I love most about homeschooling is that learning is ALWAYS happening - from learning relational skills through sibling spats to fractions while baking to biology as we study the habitat of our backyard. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Joy and Randall in Bulgaria. Spare time fun.hmm, what's that? Desiring God - John Piper. Frog Obsession (or homeschool science).

Hope these pictures inspire you to try it out if you've never camped before! Some of the following pictures are flagrantly stolen from Libby Wright, my amazing friend who is also a photographer. You can visit the Wright family's link. For more pics of our trip and other great, encouraging thoughts). Visit to nearby waterfall with the crew.

The Rogers' Family: May 2013
http://mattsarahandcorrie.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Winter is NOT my season. Ever heard of seasonal affective disorder (also known as SAD, winter depression, winter blues)? Yeah, I totally have that. But as soon as the temperatures start rising, my SAD disappears! My garden beckons, the swingset and sandbox fill our time, and our days are spent soaking up the sun. Aside from the crazy weather lately (what's up with 58 degree days in May? Sprained ankle. Matt informed me that I'm more like Avery ( our clumsiest child. As they trap an...

The Rogers' Family: Hudson turns 3!
http://mattsarahandcorrie.blogspot.com/2013/06/hudson-turns-3.html
Friday, June 21, 2013. The last two years on Hudson's birthday, we've been camping or on vacation, so we've lit a marshmellow on fire for Hudson to blow out as his "candle" and this year we were camping again, so the tradition continued. After coming home from camping, our family came up to celebrate with us at a Clemson Tiger party! Hudson, you are such a joy to our family and a sweet part of my heart. We love you so much! My sister and her boyfriend, Joey, were such good sports!

The Rogers' Family: April 2013
http://mattsarahandcorrie.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 18, 2013. Spring has been calling our name for quite a few weeks now. Last Friday, we grabbed the kids bikes and headed to Furman to enjoy a beautiful spring day! Corrie's a little budding photographer! Tuesday, April 16, 2013. I just finished a novel, The Light Between Oceans. For those who believe in and treasure Christ, He breathes new life into their dead, lifeless souls and, like Lazarus or Jairus' daughter, we rise to life! Those who have been forgiven much, love much. Those who...

The Rogers' Family: April 2012
http://mattsarahandcorrie.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 10, 2012. For Christmas, Matt gave Avery a book called. We led up to Easter by talking through Resurrection Eggs. We made - plastic eggs filled with a symbol of Easter. They start with a piece of bread and we talk about the Last Supper. Then coins for Judas' betrayal, thorns from a rosebush for a crown of thorns, etc. We hide the eggs in the house and after they find them, we read Scripture to show how that object played a part in Jesus' death and resurrection. Mommy, this is a sad story.

The Rogers' Family: July 2013
http://mattsarahandcorrie.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Gardening and the Church. I still remember the responses of our friends and family as we explained our calling to plant a church:. So, you're going to start a church.from scratch? There won't be any people in your church? You won't have a church building? Oh, I get it! It's a church split, right? Who are you mad at and who's going with you from the old church? I thought churches just always were. I've never thought that someone, somewhere started the church I'm apart of.". So we st...
