Alec has started kindergarten. He is about 40 days in, and has yet to have a complete meltdown about going. This, my friends, is nothing short of a miracle. After all the planning, the meetings, the observations, the IEPs, the therapy, the doctors, the medicine trials, and the praying- ooooohhhh, the praying! This is freakin' heavy!

This is just a tease post, one to let you know I am still here, still alive, still mothering three children, still doing laundry, still cooking, still going on errands, still being a wife and daughter and sister and friend. During the last weekend of our Winter Break, which was even a little too winter-y for me, a lifelong hardy, upstate NY kind of gal, I thought it would be fun to watch my son's head explode. Well, well, well. here I am, back writing on the ol' blog, two years after my last post. Sometime around August, Michaela found our old video camera in the basement, complete with tapes inside of it that were filmed back when Michaela was around 4 and Jenna was just about 1 year old. Actually we had a two day anniversary celebration, the first which was raining until late afternoon, when we decided to drive an hour away to Malmesbury, the most south part of our ward. We had a yummy dinner at The Bird Cage, with lots of nostalgic American 40’s music in the background and then we walked a little through the village. Anniversary walk through the village.
