Most notably, the new version includes IEEE intrinsic modules, including IEEE EXCEPTIONS, by default. Other general optimization and minor language improvements are also included. The compiler upgrade requires rebuilding. Projects that use Fortran modules as the new compiler creates and uses incompatible module files.
