Our story begins on April 13th, 2011 the day our whole existance was turned upside down. Abbie our darling 6 year old daughter had been unwell in that she was a little lacking in energy and seemed to have trouble controlling her eyes.our feeling was that perhaps she was diabetic and needed an opticians appointment, how wrong could we have been? Abbie recovered enough to enjoy one last holiday, we took a cottage in Dorset which we had taken with her religiously every summer.we loved it there so much!

She was a beautiful daughter and brave little girl who lost her fight with an inoperable and incurable (DIPG) brain tumour on September 13th, 2011. She was just 6 years old. DIPG or Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma. Is the MOST FATAL. Effective treatments or a cure available. The average survival time from diagnosis is just 9 months. Abbie passed away 5.
