I showed up bright and early to attend Eliza's 1st-grade field trip to the Zoo, and it was a breeze of a day! A Bunch of Browns. Tuesday, January 31, 2012. A Baptism and A Blessing. Earlier in January we had a very eventful weekend with Allie's Baptism and Sarah's Baby Blessing. We're grateful to our family and friends who came to the Baptism and it was great seeing everyone. Over the weekend we were able to spend time catching up, the kids played at the park, we went to the Springs Preserve, hosted a luncheon after Allie's baptism and had a family photography session. My siblings and I would spend hours- days even- creating the perfect Lego masterpieces. Granted, we sometimes disagreed on the meaning of "Masterpiece". (My brothers spent most of their time building cool spaceships and guns, while my sister and I built Lego Mansions.). A Bunch of Browns. Monday, April 2, 2012. Sarah is six months old today. I'm feeling a little nostalgic right now.most likely because I know we'll blink and it'll be her first birthday. She's starting to reach a few milestones like sitting up on her own for a few seconds and trying to scoot forward on her belly. She's sitting on my lap right now trying to grab for my arm and fingers. Allie at 5 Months. Cade at 5 Months. Sarah at 5 Months. I cant believe how much hair this little one has!

Allie has started the third grade, and loves the challenge of harder work. She's also playing on a soccer team for the first time. She has two practices and one game per week.
