Looking to the future many people are excited that this is turning into a literacy program. Our summer program is based off of literacy. As we continue to plan for the future prayers are encouraged, for the students to continue to succeed and for volunteers to feel called to work with the students. Wednesday, May 9, 2012. My husband dropped me off at the door to the ER. I went in, registered, gave them my insurance card, and sat down. I only sat there for a minute or two before I was called back. They already had me in a hospital gown and in the bed by the time my husband got the car parked and to my room. A couple of nurses that first saw me drilled me with questions and treated me like a criminal because I had not yet seen a doctor for my pregnancy. (I had only known I was pregnant for 9 days!
