Wednesday, May 9, 2012. My husband dropped me off at the door to the ER. I went in, registered, gave them my insurance card, and sat down. I only sat there for a minute or two before I was called back. They already had me in a hospital gown and in the bed by the time my husband got the car parked and to my room. A couple of nurses that first saw me drilled me with questions and treated me like a criminal because I had not yet seen a doctor for my pregnancy. (I had only known I was pregnant for 9 days!
