I’m usually too busy running around trying to get ready for work to stop and take pictures (and I don’t get up early enough on the weekends 🙂 ), but I managed to get a few shots the other day! From Garden to Table! September 30, 2013. I picked all the rest of the peppers and some more tomatoes out of my garden the other night. That is a lot of jalapeno peppers! I stuck most of them in the freezer – I hope it doesn’t ruin them. I’m hoping I can just take out one or two as I need them when I’m making salsa or whatever. I even took all the seeds out! Good thing I didn’t put more than one in there. Look what happened to the hot little green peppers after they sat out on the counter for a few days!

Rachel Ray’s Coleslaw. September 8, 2013. I tried Rachel Ray’s recipe for coleslaw because I was looking for a recipe that didn’t use mayonnaise. This coleslaw is so good and so easy! I don’t think I will ever make it any other way. 16 oz bag of pre-shredded coleslaw veggies (told you it was easy! C red wine vinegar. 2 tbsp peanut oil (or whatever vegetable oil you like). October 19, 2013. Is this gorgeous, or what? I found this copper pitcher and copper tea kettle in the Antique Barn in Allen, MI. One was at one end of the store and the other was at the other end. I have to go back there soon because I only gave the place a quick once over because Steve was waiting in the car. I didn’t even get up to the second floor! I paid $12.00 for the pitcher and only $4.00 for the kettle! I definitely have to go back there. There were so many other antique stores there too!
