Life at Arbordale Farm: 01/11/14 - 01/12/14

http://lifeatarbordalefarm.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html

Friday, 7 November 2014. Hi Ho Hi Ho It's Off to New Zealand We Go. Hi Ho Hi Ho It's Off to New Zealand We Go - well for a working holiday at least. We are spending the next 2 weeks in NZ visiting friends and family and spending some more time at our property planting trees and making plans. I hope to have time to blog a few times while we are there but it will depend on how wrapped up we get so I make no promises. The main thing I am hoping for is weather like this time last year when I was there. It is...

Life at Arbordale Farm: 01/01/15 - 01/02/15

http://lifeatarbordalefarm.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html

Tuesday, 27 January 2015. A Long Weekend Away - Amamoor State Forest. Over the Australia Day long weekend we managed to get away for a few days camping. Over the weekend there were a few showers but for the most part it was hot and fine. We went to Amamoor State Forest. There are flushing toilets but no showers which we can live without as we have a camping shower and they were really clean and tidy. We swam 3 or 4 times a day with our little crocodile dog and it was so nice to cool off in the clear creek.

http://lifeatarbordalefarm.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-life-of-adult-university-student.html

Monday, 27 July 2015. The Life Of A Adult University Student. All in all I am really loving studying and it feels so good to be really stretching my brain and learning new information and skills. I have set myself up on the dinning table and Jessie is my little study buddy and loves to lie on the floor beside me when I study. 28 July 2015 at 12:15. I do admire you for...

http://lifeatarbordalefarm.blogspot.com/2015/05/so-you-might-have-noticed.html

Tuesday, 19 May 2015. So You Might Have Noticed. So you might have noticed that the content on my blog has been a bit light on of late. If you haven't noticed it that's good, but I have certainly felt it. I have so many draft posts, about things I am passionate about, just sitting there waiting to be completed and many more running around in my head. But life is just like that sometimes and the reality is that behind the scenes there has been an awful lot happening here. We have also been designing a she...

Wednesday, February 27, 2013. Just some little things keeping me smiling this week. Sampling our first ever freshly picked apples. A hot tip received last week. Led us to a clump of plum trees, all ripe and ready for a picking. In a quiet lane on the outskirts of town. We may just happen to be passing by this particular spot this time again next year. More fresh local produce, walnuts and homemade carrot cake. Crochet covering rocks (pattern here. Peaceful sleeps in new vintage floral. Links to this post.

Saturday, August 31, 2013. A new place to call home. It's pretty, It's cold and it's a real farm. It felt like it was never going to happen, the past twelves months. Of living in town has been something of a blurr.,. Not only did I lose the closeness to my family but I really did lose a part of me when we left our little farm in Queensland to make a new home way down in. Central Western New South Wales. Finally, now my life seems to be all falling back into place again. So long story short,. Buying stock...

Gooseberry Jam: For pegs

http://gooseberryjamman.blogspot.com/2014/07/for-pegs.html

Monday, July 14, 2014. A strap of Vintage sheet, a fold and pleat of an Aussie tea towel. And there you have it. On my To DO list for ages has been to make myself a Peg Apron. I usually were a tuckshop apron when I hang out the washing. But I find the pockets are a little bit small and. I'm continually filling up my pockets from the peg basket,. It kind of defeats the whole purpose really. I'd love to take the credit for creating this beauty myself. You'd like this one Zara. July 14, 2014 at 9:10 AM.

Monday, 22 December 2014. This post is not for the faint hearted, and it does contain. Photos and information upon slaughtering and. Butchery of livestock- so if you are sensitive to this I do not advise you continue reading. However I will not apologise for posting it, as we do raise and eat our own produce; livestock and garden, so this is the reality of the lifestyle. Then on the day a well place shot did the job. Wednesday, 12 March 2014. St David’s Day Celebrations. Dydd gwyl Dewi hapus (Happy St. David’s Day). Well the weekends spit pig was (thankfully) a great success. After postponing it a few weeks ago due to cyclones, poor weather and people being away we decided we would aim for Saturday 1. Of March. As not only was that officially the first day of here but it is St. David’s Day. SO this year in addition to our traditional faggots and welshcakes; faggots are a rissole/meatball made of pigs liver, onions an...

Sunday, August 16, 2015. Oh iya, oke. Tunggu ya". Bacakan c...
