Wednesday, May 20, 2015. It's been a while. I've missed this space on the interwebs, and I'm hoping this post means I won't go away again any time soon. It's pretty much been almost ten months since I've really blogged, despite my best efforts in December to get back into it. These past ten months have been wonderfully different and I'm thrilled to finally be able to share why. Introducing. Cailyn Joy Hopper! We are the ecstatic and super proud parents of a beautiful and amazing baby girl!

Monday, June 16, 2014. We moved into our new house last weekend and it's been a nutso past week. Hubby usually takes vacation to help unpack and settle in (& do projects), but he didn't this time since he's trying to save all his days off for our kidlet TBD. It figures for the poor guy that almost everything left to be done requires his brawn and brains. We had ELEVEN people help us move in- it was awesome! It was a long, exhausting day but a good day. For our first house project, it came out pretty well!

Monday, January 27, 2014. Remember last year at this time when I'd lost a bunch of weight and was feeling awesome about my weight loss accomplishments? Yeah, it's a vague memory for me too. Over the summer I was so close to my end goal that I thought for sure I'd make it in no time. And then I couldn't work out for a couple months. and Fall baking season was upon us. and the holidays came. and the stress came. and half the weight I'd lost came. Will it be easy? Definitely not. Will it happen quickly?

My birthday fell on a Sunday this year, the first not-working-at-church-where-I-need-to-work Sunday/birthday I've had in a long time. We slept in, got Starbucks, got to sit together in church with family that was in town. And remember too that Kim. Ive checked in on your blog from time to time. Happy Belated Birthday!

Summer So Far…. June 23, 2015. We’re in our second week of summer her at FFF…we’ve been on the go since school got out on the 12th! Forcing myself to have a day at home today to get caught up on household chores and get a break from the sun and heat! Last week we hit Hurricane Harbor. Twice and the pool once.
