Sunday, May 25, 2014. Spring Break with the Ahlbergs. This year we decided to take a spring break trip with the Ahlberg family. The Ahlberg's are dear friends that we have stayed close with since our Gustavus years. Our crew included 4 adults (based on age, not maturity:), 4 kiddos under the age of 6 and an infant. A vacation? We spent the majority of the vacation enjoying the weather poolside. We managed to have a double date (child free) in Old Scottsdale- ah, braised short ribs. Yum! Uncle Lulu and Ems.

Thursday, November 21, 2013. If you give me candy, you will be nice, nice, nice". Halloween was pretty fantastic this year. Wyatt was REALLY excited about his costumes and trick or treating. We did have to practice our manners at SEVERAL homes, to say the least. The best was when he told one of our neighbors, "If you give me candy, you will be nice, nice, nice." Saturday, February 1, 2014. Our first Christmas as a family of 5. We had our own little Christmas celebration at home with Grammie and Papa. It was nice and relaxing, exactly what we needed. I think it was Wyatt's third Christmas extravaganza- he didn't seem to mind too much:). Snuggled in front of the fire. Emmy's first Christmas gift. Christmas jammies (note Chopper licking her head and Wyatt sharing his Lego guy). Stuffed in her Christmas stocking. Holiday fun with Grammie and Papa.

Monday, August 26, 2013. Dear our little Wy-Wy,. We can hardly believe it has been two years since the day you were born. On July 12th, 2011 you single handedly changed so many lives around you without even knowing it. You have taught us so many important things over the past year and we are so very grateful and blessed to be your mommy and daddy. You have taught us how to enjoy the simple things in life. How to slow down when our everyday lives can get overwhelming. We love you buddy, Daddy and Mommy.

It has simplified our lives a ton and he is still really enjoying school. We are still working as Resident Parents at Happy Hill Farm Academy. Braylin.
