January 11, 2017. Last night we started our 2nd round of swimming lessons. Both kiddos have graduated to the Guppy level which means mom and dad don’t have to get in the pool! Lessons are from 7:30 – 8 (pushing bedtime on Tuesdays I guess). We did get there a bit early but I didn’t just want to throw them in the water. life at the woods
Life at the woods. Sunday, January 19, 2014. We started the day off at our house. This was the first time that it's every been just the five of us on Christmas morning. It was quiet and strange but also terrific! Here's the stockings so when we look back we can remember what the kids were into every year. This was the first year of no legos for Ryan! He is very into baseball and football cards right now so this Topps complete set was a hit. His favorite gifts were food :). Annual Purdy family PJ picture.

Life At Thirtysomething - Humorous & Heartfelt diaries of a baby mama
Humorous and Heartfelt diaries of a baby mama. Happy 4th Birthday, Baby! July 25, 2015. At this time four years ago I was lying in a hospital bed dying from labor pains (ok, maybe I wasn’t dying), and all I was doing was begging my nurse to GIVE ME THE DRUGGGGGGS! Thankfully, around 1am a dude with numbing drugs came into my room to bring me sweet relief. AHHHH. Ba-bye labor pains, I won’t miss you! How has time passed by so quickly? Have I been as present as I could be? App on my phone all week, and it’...

Life at this pace
Life at this pace. Stories of chance encounters and observations in passing. Wednesday, February 5, 2014. Sometimes it falls fast. Gravity sucks it into immediate accumulation. It is perpendicular to everywhere you're supposed to be. A strobing curtain over necessities. You see them only in prettified flashes. But when it falls slowly. Skimming the seamless levels of wet air. It traces a path to the inevitable ground. I can look up to it. From the cozy, cold bed of its ancestors. Wondering if this flake.
