There's something about one-year-old baby boys. I don't know if it's the age, their personality, or the fact that they love to explore. I'm sold on whatever it is. What got me the most was the way this little man, Jacob, looked at his parents - like he just. How much they love him. And boy, did they. It's been so long since I've updated here, but please know that I'm here and kicking and still busy with sessions. I wanted to share the new holiday card site at Minted.com. They are a wonderful design/paper company that produces awesome-quality cards, invitations, and all things paper. I recently won the grand prize for their "Become The Face of Minted" contest with this photo:. My kiddos' and other clients' photos were also selected to be a part of their holiday campaign this season, so I am thrilled!

It's been a while since we went on a real family vacation - the kind with sandy beaches and palm trees. It was really good to us! We hung with longtime friends, we walked, we chilled. I've been photographing Hayden since he was six months old, and now he's two and constantly on the move. Somehow he manages to raise the cuteness factor every time I see him. When the Sun Came Out. Although I love color portraits, I really like this next series in black and white. This goes to show that it's not always about looking at the camera.
